I found Nick’s session both refreshing and creatively stimulating. The techniques and creativity tools ( The Idea App’s ) that we discussed and employed, represented a really fresh and liberating way to look at briefs from our customers.

Nick created an environment that allowed me to think productively , not only with regards to the specific projects being discussed in the session, but also around other assignments that I had been working on.  I ended up scribbling down loads of notes, prompted by connections that I made during the day. The ideas kept on coming!

Nick provided Creative Thinking training to a number of senior people at the Financial Times.

He has a highly engaging , interactive and inclusive style. We particularly liked the way that all participants were contacted prior to the session in order to understand their individual priorities, and content was specifically tailored to the needs of the Financial Times.

Nick talked a lot about ‘Easy Creativity’ – highlighting a number of different creative techniques that can be used, depending on the amount of time available . This flexible approach is important for any time pressured organisation that wants to be more creative.

The big lesson for us, was that truly original ideas come from NOT thinking about the problem directly or in the usual way – but approaching it from a completely different and often surprising direction.

Most importantly, from an outputs perspective, the team acquired practical creative tools that they can use moving forward.

We will certainly be using his services again and would highly recommend his training.

 Nick has supplied creativity training to the Future Publishing Sales Teams based in London and Bath. To date he has trained over 30 people in our organisation, across five sessions. Feedback from attendees has been very positive indeed, across the board

Nick’s approach provides a simple process for generating ideas that are specifically relevant and applicable to our business. Nick contacted each participant in advance to assess their individual needs and then focused on some of our current projects during the sessions – in order to make the training as relevant as possible. A number of practical solutions came out of the sessions and are looking positive in terms of converting in to confirmed sales.

Following the initial courses, Nick has been engaged for two subsequent projects  – one of which will be an advanced session, training selected ‘Creativity Champions’ who will moderate brainstorm sessions internally and encourage a positive approach to creativity within the organisation, moving forward.

We are closely considering using his services again in the future and would not hesitate in recommending him to other organisations.
